PROJECT MANAGER
Successful candidates would be assigned to projects that typically run from $5,000,000 to $25,000,000. Our projects are retail, educational, office, warehouse, and other fast-track commercial projects.

ESTIMATOR PRE-CONSTRUCTION

PRIMARY FUNCTION:  Provide and/or coordinate full bidding and cost estimating services on all projects.  Plan, coordinate, and supervise company-estimating program and assist in business development activities.  Provide technical and administrative direction to insure corporate revenue and profitability objects are met.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:   Manage and administer estimating functions including quantity take-off, constructability analsys, subcontractor solicitations, value engineering, conceptual budget generation, tracking and bid scope analysis.  Develop and maintain positive vendor and subcontractor relationships.  Create detailed estimates from conception to final construction contract.  Establish and maintain electronic pricing and organization for preparing accurate bids.  Prepare and/or oversee estimates from specifications and drawings provided by the client.  Review and approve all final estimate packages to ensure accuracy and completeness.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEGDE:  4-year engineering or construction management degree; 5 to 7 years of estimating and cost control in commercial construction projects.  Excellent organizational, supervisory, and decision making/problem solving skills are essential.  Good communicative and interpersonal skills.
