"...the best run construction project with which I have even been associated in the last thirty years...Everyone involved displayed a total commitment to providing the best possible facility within the limitations of a tight budget......In spite of hurricanes, three in one season, material shortages, the complexity of the project sited in the middle of a busy urban campus, you finished under budget and unbelievably ahead of schedule."
Sheila Herron, VCC
This highly complex renovation project entailed conversion of the existing gymnasium into the new health sciences classrooms and labs, along with other phased classroom upgrades in two other buildings on this active campus. The Health Sciences Building renovation posed an extreme challenge as it required construction of a full structural second floor inside the gymnasium and all materials had to be brought in through an existing 6’ x 7’ standard double door opening. All the work was completed in approximately nine months.
