Project Description:
Williams Company teamed up with Powell Design Group on this unique design-build renovation for the UCF School of Film and Digital Media and the City of Orlando. This project, FIEA,  has transformed the Downtown Orlando Expo Center into state-of-the-art classrooms, digital media laboratories, motion capture studio, and sound stage. In Phase three B we added the motion capture studio some conference space and a library. Additional cooling capacity was added for the Motion Capture Studio. The studio itself is 4000sf. Williams Company recently completed phase four of this project, which included 28,000 SF of interior demolition and renovation creating space for the UCF Masters of Fine Arts department, Flying Horse Printing Press, and University of Florida's Architecture Lab.
